REGIONAL MANAGER - SOUTH EAST
CIRCA £70,000 PER ANNUM - FULLY EXPENSED CAR
Geomechanical Foundations are a professional customer focused design and
build Civil Engineering contractor specialising in piled foundations for new
build, ground improvement, RC works, new and retrofit basements. We provide
integrated and innovative product solutions for some of the most creative
and interesting companies in the development and housebuilding sector. Continued

and development opportunities in specific disciplines. We now wish to appoint
a Regional Manager (Director Designate) to take responsibility for London
and the Home Counties.
Our requirement is for a qualified Chartered Engineer of at least five years
standing. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful
candidate will play a pivotal role in the development of the South East Region
and will be responsible for preparing budgets to be agreed by the board, control
of costs and achieving agreed profit targets. Ideal candidates will have at
least three years experience in pile and foundation design, vibro stone columns,
reinforced concrete and temporary works. They will probably have gained their
experience with a highly regarded contractor in the civil or housebuilding
sectors. An understanding of commercial matters, budgetary and cost control
and the supervision of works on site is a key requirement. Responsibilities
will include the negotiation of tender opportunities with clients, sale of
product solutions and liaising with our contract engineering staff in regard
to the planning and supervision of works from the point of order to completion.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a successful track record in managing
projects, liaising with clients and other technical disciplines related to
the development solutions in close collaboration with clients. They must be
commercially aware, have good interpersonal skills and be willing to constructively
challenge other parties to ensure best value is achieved.
